How to use baking soda to remove
splinters.

1.      Baking soda is a versatile white powder
and can be used in hundreds of home remedies.
2.      Splinters are small particles of wood
which can caught and trapped within the skin. These can be very painful and
become infected if they are not removed.
3.      Often tweezers are used to remove the
splinter from the skin. However this can sometimes cause the splinters to be
pushed further down, making the problem worse.
4.      The good news is that baking soda can
be used to soften the splinter and exfoliate the skin, making it easy to remove
effortlessly and painlessly.
5.      Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with a
little water to make a paste. Apple this to affected area and cover with a
small bandage until the paste dries.
6.      Remove the bandage, and the splinter
will be removed as the paste is lifted when you pull at the cloth.
7.      This is a much easier method than using
tweezers and is more effective for removing the splinter.
